Personally I won't be on the news, but the newscast regarding all the wind damage in North Ogden was shot in my back yard. My house and new minivan alone sustained probably $15,000 - $20,000 dollars in damage. That's not just my house. Neighbors are estimating $500,000 - $1,000,000 in property damage just in my immediate neighborhood. I'll post a couple of pics later.
I hope everybody else in the Wasatch Front area didn't get it as bad as I did.

I lost my roof right down to the plywood sheating, one window, and two sides worth of vinyl siding. Also my minivan looks like I sanded it with 20 grit sandpaper in various places.

Man that sucks. Lucky we didn't loose anything but a little sleep. We have a gravel pit right above our house and it blew sand through our bedroom window seals and onto our bed. WE woke up covered in dirt. That was about the worst of it.

Wow Dan, sorry to hear about the damage. I'm not too far from you, but I'm sure the mature trees around our place acted as a buffer. I need a new roof so I didn't bother checking for missed shingles. A couple of snapped branches and loss of power for most of the night were about all we suffered. BTW, it ain't no fun driving my XJ (that's squirrely to begin with) in that wind. It was down right dangerous.

that sucks dan. it was windy this weekend out here in ga. gusts up to 3 mph. i almost saw a leaf flutter across the ground. i miss the west. -grant
