Tow strap AND winch or what?

Just a quick question to the guys that have been here longer then me. On the required stuff to run with NAXJA it said"tow strap with no metal hooks,chain or winch." Does this mean that since I don't have a strap...I know I know :dunno: That I can just use my winch? or do I need to buy a strap? Just wondering

Ryan, you should be just fine with the winch up front but you will still need a recovery point on the back if you don't have one already. A hitch receiver works great.

The winch will be fine for the front but 95% of the time, a quick tug from a tow strap is all that's needed. And there's many other uses as well...........;)

I need to get one. I know I do. Problebly will before the NAXJA deal. I just wondered on the rules.
BTW I have good Clevis mounts front and rear.
