Extra vacuum lines, custom air tube

useless

NAXJA Member # 525
I am making my own air tube and want to know what everyone did with all the vacuum lines and such running from the stock air box?

It is an '89, the original box had two larger lines and two small lines which connected to what looked like a sensor. Third being that large flex hose that goes to the exhaust manifold.

I used 3" exhaust pipe for my custom intake and for a year just left those lines loose with a rag rubber banded around them, but finally installed a couple nipples in my pipe for them to go to when it was time to smog. (Ended up having to put the stock box back in to smog it anyway because they said it was booty fab :laugh2: )
