How hard would it be to put a 4.0 ho in the place of my stock 4.0 in a 1990 cherokee, what mods need to be made?

Planning on keeping the Renix ECU? It adapts to mods a little better....If you wanna keep it, you're gonna want to hook up the knock sensor and if you plan on using the HO throttlebody you have to modify the TPS sensor...Not sure about the power steering bracketry if using the HO head...
There's a whole slew of tech on here...try a few searches

The knock sensor mounts in the block. The newer blocks do not have a hole for the knock sensor.
I think Cherokee America has an old article about doing the swap.

I have never done an engine swap, I have the jeep shop manual that my neighbor payed like $80 for, but I don't know if that is enough, how difficult will this be???
