what kind of computer does the xj use

i have a 88 xj 4.0 was wondering what kind of computer it uses a friend of mine can burn chips for chevys and i wonder if he can burn one for my xj :eyes: does anyone know :repair:

It uses the RenixII ECU. it's french

its pretty much an stripped down version of the computer that drives Johnny Five. A lot of people don't know this, but the scene where johnny five starts dancing, while funny was actually a computer malfunction.

This same malfunction shows itself int he 4.0L ECU as a CPS glitch.

strange huh?
