HEY ALL
have my girlfriends XJ ('86 wagoneer 4door) and her clutch bit the dust and the motor is REALLY tired @ 400K!!!!!!!!!!
2.5L 5speed 207tcase with stupid disconect-Dana30 (how do you make the cable actuated thing?)
everything else works and interior is like mint! body straight, rust here and there but fixable, steering is perfect also.
now I'm contemplating either get a new clutch and hope the motor lasts
OR
get a lower mileage 2.5L and a better tcase or rebuild the 2.5L
OR
swap in a whole different drivetrain (LOTS of WORK!!!)
OR
get a newer lower mileage 2.5L and cam it(up horses) put in a 3" lift 31s and 4.56 gears and paint it
OR
sell the frickin thing
