suspension mods=start problem?

so i worked on my 98' XJ today, touched only the suspension stuff... my buddy was helping me align the trackbar and axle by turning the steering wheel and accidentally left the car on! now the XJ won't start. it turns over and runs if i press on the gas, but once i let up, it dies... should i charge my battery longer ( already charged it for 3 hours and nothing) or is this another problem?

any help please!
why is it whenever i work on my suspension, something else goes wrong.

Personally, i can't imagine how working on your susp could have possibly caused that problem. How old is your battery? Maybe its dead (ie buy a new spiral cell!)

checksee if you shook loose a ground . . . that could be causin' your problem.
