I recently bit the bullet and installed a new O2 sensor in my '92 Cherokee 4.0. Is there anything that I need to do for the PCM to recognize it? There was no "check engine" light on, but after 140k miles and deteriorating MPG's, I figure it's about time. It's hard to tell if it feels any different, as it was running fine, but should I 'reboot' the computer by disconnecting the battery, perform another task, or just be patient and hope it 'discovers' the new addition? Thanks.
