Speed Sensor Replacement

I need to replace my busted speed sensor on my '92 XJ Limited, and the one I'm looking at right now looks like it comes with only short wires that one would have to solder on to the old wires... I'm no good at electrical work, so I was wondering if anyone knows if replacement speed sensors usually come fully wired, or if it's normal to get them without wires. And if so, how difficult is it to replace the sensor? Thanks!

The sensor was updated and requires you to solder on the new connector to make it fit. I'm assuming you bought a dealer sensor. Maybe check and see if an aftermarket sensor has the same connection type as the one on your XJ right now.
