how much does the dash weigh?

i've been long debating tearing the dash out. If I did, I would redo it in a very minimalist fashion, and have much more room to properly route a cage. It just might push me over the edge into doing it if I found out the dash weighs 100 pounds or something rediculous like that.

if you strip al the accesories out of it its only foam / plastic formed on a sheetmetal frame.... i pulled mine last summer and it was only like 30 or 40 lbs.. more awkward from the size than anything.... and its easier to pull than it looks.. read the FSM first.. i didnt and was fighting with it for way too long... the screws at the base of the windshield are the worst to get at...
