Blazer rear cv driveshaft

Does anyone know if this will work? I have a full size Blazer rear cv driveshaft. It's 33" from end of flange to middle of rear u-joint. The four holes on the round flange are 3" from center to center. The u-joint in the cv end are 1 1/8th" and the u-joints on the rear are 1 1/16th". It has a slip at the end that I haven't freed up yet so the overall length can go longer or shorter. Can I use this driveshaft with a hack and tap? I was thinking of putting on a regular yoke on the end of the hack and tap and removing the round flange to be able to bolt on the u-joint to the yoke.
Thanks,
Earl
