98 rear speaker wiring

Where exactly are the plugs for the rear speakers?

Yours are not connected to your speakers?

It did not come with rear speakers and would like to install some. Knowing that 98s came with the sound bar in the back I would guess they are above the headliner.

I know this is an old thread but I cant seem to figure out how to access the speaker wires in the rear sound bar in my 2000 XJ 4 door. When I replaced the rear speakers I accidentally pulled too hard on the drivers side speaker wires in the roof and I think disconnected something. I have tried plugging different speakers in and none work on the Drivers side rear. What is the easiest way to access the wires in the roof? Remove the headliner? My soundbar is intigrated in the headliner so there are just two grills in which I cannot reach most of the speaker wiring.
