OK, I tried to make heads or tails out of my FSM.. but they didn't plainly call things as they were.... In any case I have torqued the crossmember to the frame at 41Nm and the bottom of the tranny mount to the crossmember at 22Nm. DOes that sound right? I don't want nothing falling off while I'm on the freeway :)
Oh.. it's a 98XJ with an AX15 and NP231

don't think it really matters...
never broke out the torque wrench on any of my XJs and never had a problem with the crossmember or tranny mount on any of them.

cool... I just remembered someone talking about the bolts loosening up on them, but I checked mine after two days and about 50 miles and they seem to be just as tight.
