Hi-Lift, Cast or Stamped?

Has anyone ever seen a stamped one fail?
Is the price difference worth it?

I have a stamped Hi-Lift. Had it for about 10 years now. For the 10 times I have used it to lift and winch it hasn't failed nor do I ever think it will. I would buy it again. But it's your money. You can always paint it red. Juice

Get the cast one, buy it once and pass it on to your grandkids. You'll forget the small price increase in a month.

I bought my cast one on sale at Tractor Supply Company for $35 on sale about 3 years ago. Check around. You might find a deal.
