I'll be there Friday~ Sunday at Slickrock. I'd like to run Cliffhanger and Moab Rim one day and something mellower the other day. Maybe even something quick on Sunday morning too! :)

Both are good options for Friday Alex, we've also discussed running out and exploring the Mi Vida mining operation area that is located SEast of Wilson Arch. I have the GPS coordinates from the article that 4Wheel Sport Ute Mag did on it a year or so ago. Looks like a good 3+ to 4 trail for the whole group and it should give us time get back to town and burn some burgers and raffle off some prizes Saturday evening. There are plenty of folks that would be in for a short run on Sunday morning too.

I'll be there friday and saturday, dunno when I'll take off Sunday. I plan on doing the drive thru of McDonalds...er, kay, I don't have have any planned trails, whatever's moderate. Am kinda wondering if Kane Creek would be fun with more water, but, don't much care what I do. Then again, at my age, I could do the same trail every year, and think it's a new one...

I"ll be there. Haven't decided on where to stay yet. Every year I've gone down there since '98 I've stayed at SlickRock CG but I think I might "rough it" this year and find a nice spot maybe somewhere along the river or something. We'll see.

I'll be there from some time Friday to late Sat Night/early Sunday Morning. I will be camping somewhere preferably with no costs or fees but the river sounds nice too. I'm all for this Mi Vida Mine run on Saturday! Depending on my arrival time I would like to explore in the behind the rocks area while taking the easy way to Pritchett arch friday.

I'll be down on the 22nd Staying at the Moab Rim CG through Sunday for sure and maybe till Monday??? Looking forward to the Saturday run. I thought that it wasn't that difficult though. (Meaning that a stocker could do it fairly easy). Friday I'm open to whatever........Proving grounds, Upper Helldorado, Pritchett..... What was I thinking??

Joe, are you refering to the Mi Vida Mining area tour on Sat? Having never run it before, I can't say firsthand if a stock XJ will have any trouble, but my experience has been that an XJ with a 2" boost and 30's can run just about any 3+ to 4 rated trail in Moab. There may be a couple of challenging sections for a stockish rig, but nothing it can't handle.
I have detailed maps with GPS coordinates so it will be a fun day exploring country that most will never see on a trip to Moab.

If not, we'll use my pig as a ramp..not like it would hurt the paint job any..hope we can get some trails firmed up, so I know whether to come down late thursday, or early friday...hell, the job's not that good, maybe I'll just stay in Moab and sell rocks to the Californian's and tell 'em they're from Mars...

My updated plans are to arrive late Thursday the 22nd, camp somewhere, run Kane Creek Friday! camp somewhere, run Poison Spider Saturday! win something cool at the raffle! then head for home Saturday night.
If I don't win something, and ACE wins the same thing twice :( :tear: :bawl:  :rattle: :tears:

So......Jeff, What you're saying is that I'll more than likely make it with my budget boost and 30 inchers?
Great 'cause I thought I was going to have to sit this one out! lol
Looking forward to seeing something that I haven't seen before down there. Are you cooking the burgers on Saturday night?
