HELP!! Possesed Jeep!!

Ok here's the deal. While waiting in the driveway for the new axle, My jeep's battery got low.... i triyed to start it and gave up, figuring i'd charge it this weekend.....

So I started working on some fender trimming, All of the sudden the Heater Fan comes on!?! (the keys are in my pocket at this time)

I tried everything, Finally i just disco'd the battery.....

Bad ignition switch? Is the fan switch on when this happens or is the switch off? I would think the ignition switch is shorting out and letting power go thru.

Are you sure you didn't cut though some wire(s) while trimming?

Didn't matter what position the heater is on..........

And.... i don't think there are any wires in the front fender... ;)
