Good question Bryon , I know i'm heading to the rubicon. It would be cool to get a caravan of xj's
heading down at the same time, although i will be towing mine,(cause you never know).
it should take around 12 hours if we have no problems, hope to leave on the 14th,maybe get a room in south tahoe, for the night, park my tow rig,and head for loon lake,in the morning for saftey check.
i'll be bringing my wife and kids too
hoping to stay till the end (22nd)
its still early and not written in stone, still subject to change.
anyone wanna go play let me know. Brian R

As much as I want to do the Rubicon, I just doesn't work with my schedule ........my wife doesn't want to spend our 10 year anniv. on the trail. I may shoot for Colorado instead. Beyond that, I'm gonna plan for JV in November with the WCGIC.

Providing both the Jeep and I are ready, I'll do both. Moab in April will give me a better idea on the above.. Will prolly tow it out there, though. We'll see.

Brian i know we talked about it at the winter convention but it doesn't look like the Rubicon time frame is going to work for me either. i did see that you wanted to camp in one place to make it easier for you with your kids and the Colorado trip would be great for that. there is nothing more i would rather do than the Rubicon and Fordyce i have been dying to do both trails but things might change by then

Colorado would be fun, and more convenient, but the rubicon would be way cool,.It is still early so maybe we could make it happen.keep me posted   Brian R
