Will this interchange work?

Will the factory Trac-Loc from an 2001 XJ, with 3.55s, work in my 1995 XJ, which will soon have 3.73s? Thanks in advance.

You don't mention axle types. Are they both D35s or Chrysler 8.25s?

If they're the same, yes. If not, no. Make sure abs is the same too.

Both are 8.25s, his is a 27 spline, mine is a 29 spline.

29 spline will not work in a 27 with out an axel swap and vise versa.......
