over heard display

hey guy, just wondering if you all know where the thermastat for the over head display is? my temperature is way out i think i need a new one

I believe the sensor is behind the front bumper.
Thats where the wiring harness ends on my 1999.

yep , behind the front bumper, best way to get to it is pull down the ruber splash shield . lay on your back and reach straight up. new part from the dealer is 20 bucks

oops, i dont really have a bumper any more, the sawzall ate it, you wouldnt happen to know were exactly it was and what it might look like?

It was centered behind the front bumper. The sensor is a small inch-long piece or so that looks almost like a pushbutton. I can go get a pic of it tomorrow if needed

This is from under the oilpan looking up and forward, almost directly behind the front license plate.
