Found the info on Cherokee America about D44 and ZJ brakes. Anyone know of another place that might talk about 8.25? Anyone using this setup? Pros/cons?

The only big con is finding a whole rear ZJ Axle. Some can find them for nothing, but some of the yards think they are gold. You might as well buy the kit with all the parts.

that looks realley easy is that realy all that is needed is to open up the hole in the rotor and backing plate? the rest is bolt on?

More or less. depends on how you want to mount the hard to soft line connection and handle the park brake cable.
