Looking for someone who's done this one before. Have a Rauncho 3" lift with complete rear springs and control arms ( lower ). What ways can I go to gain another 1 1/2" or 2 without breaking the bank ? Was thinking shackles and spacers and a tc-drop, and adjusting for the trac arm, but what would be the best way to achive this?
Sure heveryone has there own opinion, but don't mind hearing from those who have been there before me. ALL ADVISE IS APPRECIATED!!!

Forgot to mention that I am currently running 235s so maybe thats why it looks short. It seems to be as high as a stock 4dr ( mine is 2dr )

hey man im in the same boat as you. I got the rancho 3 inch lift as well. Do u have the rs5000 shocks becasue if u do u may also have to get new shocks to raise another inch. IM thinkin off goin another inch and a half with shackles and spacers. I already have blocks for the AAL that are an inch but i think i willl just leave them in. the lower control arms kinda suck in that they are not adjustable but for an extra inch or two they should work. U will need new brake lines if u dont already have them, i dont yet. i want to know of i could use my same shocks but move the shock mounts. This is ur thread sorry but I basically have the same question as you.

i would use a coil spacer and rear shackle setup. as for the control arms, you probably want to to buy new ones. they don't necessarily need to be adjustable at this height... tcase drop and also if you wanted to, now would be a good time to upgrade to ss brakelines. i'm not totally sure on sye and cv shaft changes, but i know it is highly recommended at 4.5+ lifts. also, the front shocks may be ok, but you will need to replace the back shocks for sure... your best bet is to call RE and ask what they think.
hope this helps,

I've got a Skyjacker 3" that runs a true 3.5" and I've gone up and down between 3.5" and 5" half a dozen times. Shackles and spacers are the way to go, but you will need new control arms if you want it to ride properly. The short arms just cause it to feel less stable IMO if you don't have the right length. You only need another 1/4" or so IIRC but that 1/4" can make a big difference.
