I'm planing on turning my AC into OBA, i have read all the post and know what I'm doing for the most part! I want to check that my compressor clutch is working, how do i do this? I only find one wire coming off the compressor, i take it that is power? When i disconnect the wire the fan belt squeels really bad, how come? This can't be normal cause if it is, when even i have the compressor turned off it will do it? Need some help here, need to know if the clutch is working before i tear into it!!

sounds like you need to tighten the belt a bit. the single wire is the (+). to see if the clutch is working power up the wre and the inside of the clutch pully should spin as well as the ouside
