t-case (np242) woes (not dial-up friendly)

well my t-case junked out on me last weekend. Well, it was making a slight grinding/rubbing sound in 2wd. and in 4wd it got a lot worse, worse to where one of the guys i was wheeling with thought the sound he heard from my t-case was my d44 dragging the rocks :shock:

I pulled the case apart and cant see anything obviously wrong inside. but i thought maybe someone else would notice something i overlooked. let me know what you guys think.
