OK... I know what will most say: Fab it...... well... time and welder and... you know how it goes.... might as well have someone else sweat it out.

Anyways... what is out there, what has the least overhang... and what is sturdy?

I kind of banged mine in... so I know I will have to do something about it sooner then later.......

I'm interested in this too. I'd want something as flush as I can get and as hard as I can get, can't fab it either. I have an '89 with a 231. My current crossmember has dents everywhere except the top! (From teh same day of course)

I would say the ORGS one with the t-case skid is then best choice if you can't fabricate one yourself. check here: http://www.orgsmfg.com/product/xmember.htm
