How does one get the handle off the t-case shifter? Is it glued, screwed, welded ? :eek:

My 97 FSM doesn't indicate that it comes off. It's removed along with the lever assembly.

What I did was put it in drive (engine off) and yank reak hard and steady on it. Pops right off, and pushes right back on. Just be careful when pulling it off! (might pop yerself in the grille):D

You talking the auto trans shifter Backdraft? He was asking about the Transfer case shifter. (the clue was careful or it'll hit you in the face..not that that's happened to me...twice...really!)
