We discussed a one time fee, 10 bucks (more if ya have it) at the January meeting to get the Chapter rolling and all that..soooo, has the account been set up, Ace have a drop box in SLC, and if so, where do we send the loot? Cuz, if you don't tell me soon, I'm gonna replace a spark plug or something, and you won't get squat...

Joe was gonna get both of these nailed down when I spoke to him late last week. He'll post the PO box where you can send your alms as soon as it's a done deal.
Stay tuna-ed.

Yeah, I visited America First CU on Thursday to set up an account but it looks like there will be fees involved in this so I will be bringing that up with the BOD and presenting the different options we may want.
I have been talking to Jeff about setting up a PO box near me but he's convinced me that a PO box in SLC would be wiser in the grand scheme of things so I will set that up next time I'm in SLC.
Hold on to that money poomba!

Nod. Now I have this ugly sounding growling sound when it's in 4 wheel. I'm about to give up. Spent thousands, and wtf knows if its safe to drive 50 miles.

JR at Misconceptions had it towed back to his shop, to recheck it Friday, doubt it'll be able to be checked out til monday, was late in the day. Also having the CV replaced. I just want the thing done and safe/ready for moab in April. Kinda feel silly having the CB in there, when all I've done is sit in the driveway and going Breaker Breaker...if it can be done, I'll get it done..I bought the thing to see some country, not just webwheel, ya know? I'll have a sye put in as well, while I'm doing things, I figure I might as well get 'em finished.

Thanks for the update poomba! What I really meant to ask was how is the Chapter Account coming? ;)

Main reason we came up with the small fee, was the requirement by Naxja to have a bank account of at least $500.00 to start a chapter. Rather than wait months to raise the cash for this requirement thru fund raisers, decided in January to go ahead and fork over a one time fee to do so. Quick, easy, and we're pretty well on our way. Now, the fundraisers can catch us up on future events without a lot of 'we're too broke to buy staples and paper' stress.
As I understand it, there are plans to use the logo on decals/t shirts and the like to raise funds. But that's a good question, who 'fronts' the money to stick the logo on the tshirts? Or do we just get a 'who wants one' feel for things, and order 20, 30, 100 of 'em? Sign me up! We may still be at the 'is this the logo we want as our official logo, or just an option to raise funds' point in the process. I was out of town for the feb meeting, not sure what was decided... can we get a clarification from the BoD?

Dunno how this would work, exactly, but if someone donates $80-$100 to the chapter, I'll give 'em 4 used superswamper 33's (12.50x15's). Interco TSL's. Still have decent tread left, just wanted some quieter tires, since I'm gonna be driving this on the road a bit, this year. I can bring 'em to the march meeting, if I get the word someone's donated.

Looks like about 5/16ths to 3/8ths of an inch, on the two I can reach without crawling over a bunch of stuff. We're sending the checks to the PO box listed in the mailing addy that ACE set up. If the donation requirement is too high, can adjust. Just figured someone in our group should get a shot at these, rather than just shred 'em, while they still have some life in 'em.

No problem. Figured maybe someone could use 'em, and raise a lil money for the chapter. If not, I'll keep 'em and use them when I get up to Oregon/Washington, next year. Just as soon not move them, though.
