sorry if this is in the wrong forum. is there much difference between the xj and mj besides the looks? the mj is not a unibody, right? i was thinking of building a rig like bez. seems like it would be a LITTLE less work if the mj already had a frame to start with.
 
from the cab forward the mj is unibody just like the xj. from behind the rear glass back there is a frame just like any other pickup. might try a search for flatbed mj.

The bed comes off, the cab does not. The way I see it, the big advantages of the MJ are the larger rear wheelwells, the ease of doing a spring-over and getting 5" of lift, the extra 12" of wheelbase (though that one is always up for discussion), and the MJ is built a little more robust (it's a truck, not a station wagon). Everything in the front suspension is the same headache as the XJ.
