RE 1660 Measurement (track bar)

I need to know what the narrowest measurement for RE1660 is?

I am peicing together a 4" lift and want to use RE1660 but don't want to purchase to bracket that goes along with it. $70 for a bracket that I can makemyself, that is the price of a brand new coil spring. So I figured I can do something similar to Kevin Offroad bracket, and weld a piece of 3x3x3/16 tube. I know that he uses a WJ trackbar. But Orgs,and JKS (same) both use Factory style bushings, no Johnny Joint. So I don't see why I couldn't use RE1660.

I just got the RE6130 4.5" kit from RE. It came with the 1600, not the 1660, but I plan on getting the drop pitman arm by the time my lift goes on.
