My new'n'improved "frame rails" are about ready for installation.

4" x 6" x 1/4" box tubing, cut in half to make 4" x 3" channel

The angle is going to be part of my crossmember. I used it as a template to make the holes line up.

After drilling the holes out to 3/4", they just took a little cleaning up to make the .75 OD, .120 wall sleeves fit.

Suprisingly, all the holes line up for the sleeves!

And the angle iron even still fits!!

I'll post more pics next week after it's installed w/ the crossmember :)

Lookin' good. So you decided on the sleeves, who's got the beef? :)

4 bolts through ea. side, that's the way to go considering it will also be supporting your longarms.

Yeah.. including the crossmember, I ended up drilling like 20 or more 3/4" holes through 1/4" steel! but I decided that it was all nessecary.
