Coilover Spring Modeling Calculator (http://members.aol.com/Stvns/springcalculationR3b.xls)

It's what it says it is: a spreadsheet tool to allow you to model the result from combining different springs on a coilover shock.

It works for both 14 and 16 inch shocks (just change the shock size field).

It's preliminary, and needs someone with a SAW, King, or other shock in-hand to verify the dimensions and adjustment range (hence this post on NAXJA).

Any feedback?

EDIT: 01/22/04, revised 3b version that provides exact values (not "close enough" values).

Can't provide much input, but I downloaded it. :D

I'll try and play with it some this week. Maybe it should be on the Mod board, I don't really consider coilovers other-tech.

Thanks,
Lincoln

Need Excel spreadsheet... Since Micro$oft co$t$ money, beat the system and go open source.

They have a free spreadsheet program in their Open Office software that reads and writes M$ files. :)
