Pivoting Leaf Spring Perches ???

I was looking at these on the BC Bronco page for the rear suspension. It seems to me this may be a good way to get the rear suspension of an XJ to catch up to the front coil suspension without going to the extreme of doing a coil conversion in the rear. My first thought was, these things are going to break though but I imagine if you build them right they won't. Also making sure that they won't bind, in which case a limiting strap may be in order. Anyone running anything of this type? Any input?

Also how much more flex do you think this would give you over a stock perch setup?

concept makes sense. seems like it could have some stability issues, but for trail-only....

Makes sense. Looks like it'd be easy enough to fab and would cut out alot of bind.

I'm going to make some of those for the rear of my MJ, should be really easy, the biggest concern is that they act as a lift block, so I'm waiting to make them until after I make my traction bar.
