My rendition (lower pic) of what the XJ should have looked like if it wasn't discontinued (based on the Bejing 2500).....

Working for DC could be loads of fun.........................

I don't think it'd be fun to work at DC at all...you may be able to have fun with the concepts, but I don't think they'd ever make anything more aggressive than the Rubicon TJ. I do like the way that looks though. :D

An XJ with the Rubi drive train would be cool. I tried to make it more aggressive looking than the 2500, did quite a few alts to the body/styling. PhotoChop is great fun!

Your right though, getting ANYTHING approved would probably suck!! But it's sure fun dreamin'.

Just goes to show how timeless the XJ's body lines are. In all reality, someone could make what you've drawn just by changing the front clip and rear taillights. The main chassis is still that of a '97+ XJ. Hella cool

Edit: BTW, beautiful chop job, I'm just now picking up on all the little details that you added(beadlocks, larger flares w/ 2 piece rears, clearanced rear bumper, roof rack, etc)

Thanks. Very observant! There's approx. 12 mods total. Some very subtle.

Maybe a round stainless gas filler cap would look groovy, too. The stainless would tie in with the chromed headlights, etc.
