Got out of work today and drove the normal ride home. About halfway through the trip (2miles tops) I felt some shakeing dureing acceleration. Turned down the tunes and sure enough, the beast decided to act up. Seems to idol ok, but when i give it gas you can hear adn feel a rapid sputtering, with a loss of power.
Im thinking its either a restriction in the exhaust , ie. cat broke up and lodged in pipe somewhere, or my fuelpump is dieing. If I romp on the gas she'll go, but abit hesitant. I had a pretty similar circumstance happen to my old 82 rabbit and ended up being the fuelpump, but it died pretty quick once it started sputtering.. I only made it a mile or so. I planned on doing the pump anyways just Lame timeing for it to go, if thats what it is.
