i found a place called venture products to get a new ford 8.8. it has disc brakes and any gears i want (probably 4.11 or 4.56)
my questin is how hard is it to do the spring over, and convert the e-brake and brake lines so they work. thanks

well, if you can weld, then the springover is no problem.

I had a drum brake version, and I was able to use the OEM cables. The disk brake version is a little tougher because the cables use little loops on the ends. You may be able to use the OEM Ford cables.

You can use the stock e-brake lines, there is a good writeup on them on a post on JU.
