My XJ like to die on me at its own will.

once in a blue moon my rig will just die. turn it off and restart immediatly and run fine. only happens every two weeks or so. any common sensor prob im overlooking? TPS and IAC check out fine. could it be the CPS???? need some ideas.

My wife's 90 XJ 4.0/AW4 does this also (intermittent stalls) I plan to put a new CPS in it and see if that cures it...

that was the next thing i was going to try. hope it works becuase, other than that the truck runs great.

Mine did that and would get worse as time went on. The new CPS seems to cure it as well as the goofy idle.
