Oh man, this makes me long for the days of rubber bones and resistance to cold.

I dunno, but it is cold. Snorting it gives one a rush though. Sorta like brain freeze from eating ice cream to fast.

I had to walk to down the driveway to remind myself we are on an island... and not up in the mountains. :wierd:

Fun stuff. We got about 9-10" down in Lewis County and it's now turning into slush...

I had a harder time driving today than yesterday when it was all still frozen. It's like mud.

I work at Green Mountain,(weyco's mill in Toutle Wa.). We were layed off for two weeks prior to the holidays, and haven't been back since. I wish this snow would melt, I am going broke.

Don't you just love how they shut mills down right before the holiday's. It's like saying, "the SMT needs a bigger bonus so bend over and take it". I'm a lowly account, we don't get the shutdowns but I only work with three of the 15 people I started with 5 years ago. The rest have been centralized or downsized (love those words).

At our office there are still a few people around that got their start working in the mills. They seem to be the only people left that give a sh*t about anyone but themselves.

We're still running pretty well wide open. I deal pretty closely with customer service and they can't keep up. I heard they were shutting Eugene down before Christmas, but don't think it happened.

Our shutdown is normally just one week, but they were replacing a trimmer so they made it 2 this year. Now it seems as though the weather is making it 3.

I can see how that might cause some problems. It supposed to blow over by this weekend.

Good Luck.
