Did they make an overhead console for a 92 XJ 2door? If so, where can I get one (anyone selling)? If not... will ones from an earlier model or later model work?

YES, My parrts manual ('91-93) shows one for that year.
As for getting one??? Scour the Bone Yards.
Looking at other parts manuals ('94-'97) the Over Head Consoles all appear to be pretty much the same.
