What RTV should I use on my DIFF

I have removed my diif cover and cleaned every thing up, the factory service manual recomends a silicone sealent. I have the Black one which I used on my Valve Cover, but it mentions not to be used near oil. :dunno:

What type RTV should I use?

Jeep/Chrysler recommends the Blue, I did mine on Friday.

Always used Ultra-Black myself.....NEVER had a leak, Look for it in the can the looks like Easy-Cheeze.

Actually they used to sell an RTV of their own and it was red :D

I've used whatever I have on hand. So far blue, black and ornage work fine. Just make sure that the surfaces are clean, clean, clean.
