Remote entry mayham!

well i lost my remote entry fobs for my 89 xj laraedo 2dr. paying 80 bucks for a new fob is rediculous. i picked up an aftermarket system to replace it but i would like to just use the stock wiring. i would rather not run all the wired back out of the ceiling so i was wondering if anyone knows where i could track them down to in the dash.

if you have done this before i'd like to know to.

I fitted an aftermarket system to my '90 XJ. I had to wire in a new pair of relays in the passenger side kick panel in order to make the system work. It was kind of complex, but if you can get a wiring diagram, you should be able to do it. The instructions that came with the new system were quite good. It's much better than the OEM infra-red system as it works from 100 feet away. Also has car starter option on it. I just love it!
