Hey guys, my brother got an old school computer and they didn't disable the deep freeze program on it. This means he can't save any work to the HD permanently, only during his current session. He also can't install any software permanently, only for the current session. Is there anyway around this?? He just got it, and the people at his school with the p/w won't be around for another 2 weeks for the holiday. Any help?? Thanks

Format the hard drive
In Formatting the hard drive, will it erase the OS?

It should not only erase the OS, it should erase *EVERYTHING*.

I have worked with, installed, and managed that program, and it is rather invasive. Even if you HAD the password, I would recommend a reformatting of the hard drive and a rebuilding of the system, just to exercise any old gremlins.
Good luck.

Reformating solves everything, just make sure you have and older copy of windows or whatnot lying around, every new computer usually comes with an install disc that you could borrow.
