Hi all,

Been running Castrol Syntec 5W-50 in two of my Jeeps for the last year or so. Been really happy with it. Living in Jacksonville, FL now the temp never gets below 30 so I'm wondering if this is really a good idea. Seems to me this oil will do just about anything it needs to weight wise which means I can run it in all 3.

Any thoughts or comments?

It's all I run in my three jeeps(99 Cherokee, 00 Wrangler, 84 CJ7). I have had no problems, and NJ weather at all extremes.... Other important thing is to get a quality filter, Napa Gold or K&N seem to be two of the best.

That's what I run in the older ones. I don't need the 50 weight in the 2000 so in that I use what the factory calls for, but in a synthetic.
