When I was going down the freeway today, I noticed a low vibration that would begin at about 55 then increase to where it was noticable at 70. It seemed to be coming from the transfer case area so I shifted into 4-wheel part time and then into 4-wheel full time. When I did this, the vibration/rumble went away. It then returned when I went back into 2-wheel drive. I also tried to see if it went away if I took my foot off of the accelerator and coased, but it was still there. BTW, this is in a 92 Laredo 4.0 inline 6. Does anybody have any experience with this or any advice?
