D30 u-joints

I have an '88 xj and I was wondering if I could upgrade my smaller u-jionts with the bigger ones? I don't know the numbers....any help?

If yours is a non-disco axle than you can get some shafts from a TJ which has 297 u-joints. Alot stronger! Just did mine a couple of weeks ago.

I have the disco, so what are my options?

The driver side will still work from a TJ, or a later model XJ with the large joint. For the passenger side, I got a shaft for a 95 YJ with ABS. In that year, the YJ was disco, and evidently with ABS, you got the big u-joint...
