I’m going to start building a box/shelf in the back cargo area. I would like to store 48”high lift, tow strap box and small tool box under it. Ill prob give it a trap door lid. Any dimension advice? Thinking 1/2in ply wood then carpet or herc the top ?

I built a shelf to store my spare under (so I could still get at the spare without unloading all of my other tools, clothes, food etc.
I also made a tool box that slides in next to the 33" spare and I have room for a large fire axle behind the tire and box. You could mount the hi-lift on top of the shelf if you wanted also but I keep mine (60" hi lift) on top for now (probably eventually move to front or rear bumper.

2xtreme, you cannot remotely link to an image in webshots. but you can post a link. the link you posted was while you were currenty logged in. to give us a good link, you need to find the link called "preview in community" or something like that. it should be to the top right of the pic. then use thos url's.
but here's the good link --> http://community.webshots.com/photo/98405875/98526419dijsEm
