Line-X Quarter Panel Protection

At SEMA I noticed a few vehicles using bedliner (Line-X, Rhino, etc.) on the lower quater panels for protection. Seems like a good idea. Any experince from anyone who has done this.

We are also considering Line-Xing our new un-painted Rock Rails and Front/Rear Bumper. Would these items still need to be primed?

it's a great idea for scratch protection, but it will do very little for dent prevention. wherever you go to get them sprayed, ask them if it's better bare steel or primered, they'll know.
