HELP, 97 w? NO Spark......

It stalls random and all the connectors under the hood are clean and tight. It will stall going down the highway and then sometimes it will start right up and other times I have to wait a minute. No check Engine Light or codes. Fuel pump is ready and pumped and when it don't want to start it has no spark coming off the coil. What is it?????? I do have an aftermarket coil from Accel but this problem is not broken long enough to fix it. It also seems that when it rains the problem starts back up......

Have you tried the CPS?

As in replacing it?

Will a bad CPS throw a code?

I have no reason to believe the sensor is bad with no check engine light but a $115 sensor that is not throwing a code is a big gamble this time of year........Anyone ever have problems with the sending unit under the distributor or just change the damn CPS..........
