I agree with the idea here. The problem though is what is condsidered an "American" company?

If we use the idea of Corporate headquarters, doesn't that make all of us hypocrits??? Daimler is in Stuttgardt, Germany, While Land Rover(part of Ford) is in Dearborn, MI.

Sorry to disappoint you but '89's are post AMC vehicles. Still, they were made by the formerly American Chrysler Corp. though. There's no escaping the Renault design however.

Both of mine are 88's, some parts are AMC logo, some are Chryco logo. But if you have to go buy the infamous dealer-only stuff your cash is still going German!
