Neutral Safety Switch

Hello,
My reverse lights don't work again. I've taken NSS off three times in the past year and cleaned it out, put dielectric grease in it and put it back in my 95 XJ. Each time, the reverse lights went back to normal. This time they still don't work. Eveything inside looks fine. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Just a shot in the dark but did you by chance stretch out those little springs inside the NSS that put pressure on those little contact things? I needed to do this to mine when I cleaned it out. The springs were pretty flat and didn't push out the metal tabs far enough.

That's a great idea. I made sure that the springs were clear of gunk and dirt but I'll try to stretch them out some. Thanks!
