R.E. Lift Kit

I am upgrading my '89 XJ and rather than tearing off a limb for a skyjacker lift, I wanna go with the RE 5.5 lift. But what gain would I get from buying the long arm 5.5 extreme duty lift rather than just getting the standard 5.5 Extereme duty lift. What exactly does the long arm do different.

The standard 5.5" has drop brackets and braces to lower the angles of the lower control arms. The long arm kit moves the mounting point farther back on the body to decrease the angles. You could probably search and find enough stuff to read for two days.

Plus, you could get the regular kit now, or wait until (next year? really?) to go long arms, if you're set on RE.

With the long arm kit you have the ability to go higher without the extreme angle I'll have mine in two weeks talked to RE today
