Was a little curious so I put this together, thought I’d share for those that don’t already know.

The way I read the lighting thing was that I can have about two of any type light made on my bumper, which would mean that I can have like 10 lights as long as they are not on at the same time right!!!

The way I've always put it (refering to my 100W rear facing lights and 55W side facing lights)
It's legal for me to buy them.
It's legal for me to mount them.
It's legal for me to wire them.
It's illegal for me to turn 'em on.

You can't turn them on at all, or just on road? Offroad ok, when you would actually need them.

I can use the rear facing lights when backing up only legally. As for offroad it's just about anything goes, except you can have no more than eight (forward facing?) lights on at one time. I have eight lights total (just tallied them up), so I guess I'm good! (Although I only use the side and rear lights when backing, the side lights are mounted at the rear of the quarter panels, very nice for turning while backing (basically, chickening out!)
